FAQs
In this section, you'll find some General and Frequently asked question! Have a
question that wasn't answered here? Feel free to reach out to me!

Q1. Are there any species you won't make?
A1. Nope! I'm open to making any species. So far, I've made Dogs, Wolves, Foxes, Ducks, Sharks, Dragons, Rabbits, and Cabbits,

Q2. Would you consider making a Murrsuit/Murrsuit parts?
A2. Unfortunately, that is not something I do, or forsee doing. I have nothing against it, we all have our likes! There are definitely other makers out there that would be much better at making those parts than me even if I DID offer it, so that's one of the reasons I don't, ha ha. ^^U

Q3. Do you make props or clothing for your suits?
A3. It's a case by case sorta thing, but in general, yes, I have nothing against making additional props or SIMPLE clothing for suits. (Ex: Hats, scarves, vests, bandannas, jewelry, collars, etc)

Q4. How is the padding in your bodysuits done?
A4. I use either a hollow form technique or pillow forms. It all depends on the size of the shape and where it's located.

Q5. What materials do you use for lining heads and other fursuit parts?
A5. Head linings are made using anti-pill fleece. The lining in feetpaws and handpaws are done with a simple cotton fabric and their ends are finished with a fleece band. Handpaws have a Left and Right tag while feetpaws do not since they are symmetrical.

Q6. How do I wash my suit/parts?
A6. I suggest using an Alcohol Sanitary spray for the inside of suit parts like the head, handpaws, feetpaws, and body suit. Spot clean with a sponge or rag for any surface stains. I do not suggest machine washing anything. Should something need to be more heavily laundered, hand wash only and hang dry, preferably with a heavy duty fan. I do NOT recommend heavily washing/ hand washing fursuit heads or body suits since they have a lot of foam in them and will be harder to dry. Do not use a hair dryer to dry any suit/parts, as the heat can melt the fur fibers. Brush suit regularly to keep fluffy looking and take out tangles. Every suit also comes with a care guide with more detailed information.

Q7. There's a rip or seam pop in my suit! What do I do?
A7. Unfortunately, no matter how well we secure our seams, us fursuit makers can't guarantee that this won't eventually happen. Wear and tear is something very normal with all fursuits and can't really be avoided. Feel free to send me a message with a description of the pop, or a picture! If it's an easy enough fix, I can give you some instructions on how to fix it yourself. If it's a larger problem, we can discuss shipping it to me so that I can mend it.

Q8. What's the difference between Faux Fur hair and Woven Hair?
A8. Faux fur hair is exactly what is sounds like! I make a short style made out of faux fur, fill it with poly fill, and sew it into the head. Woven hair is a bit trickier, but nicer for characters with a lot of hair, long tuft/hair, or manes. Using a net mesh sewn onto the head, I weave Synthetic Wig Fibers through them and secure it with glue. Dependent on whether this is smooth hair or fluffy hair, I then straighten the fibers and style it into the correct hairstyle using Got2B Hairspray. Do note, this styling WILL need to be touched up every now and then by the owner!
